The US will soon be home to the world's largest office complex that meets the Vedic standards of architecture promoted by Indian spiritual leader, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Washington DC-area real estate developer, Jeffrey Abramson, plans to begin construction this year on the innovative development he hopes will provide tenants with a more spiritually fulfilling and healthful workplace. It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring fulfilment to the field of business.

The Star of Mysore article noted that the 72 million dollar office complex will be the first in the United States to be constructed on the basis of Vedic Architecture. It will also comply with environmental standards set up by the US Green Building Council.

A brochure designed to market the structure states that, 'All measurements of Tower II, interior and exterior, are proportionally designed to mirror the geometry, or architecture, of the universe.'

It also emphasizes that the main entrance faces East, a central component of Vedic Architecture which allows a structure 'to capture the early morning sun for the greatest benefits of health and the vitality of the occupants'.

The article went on to say that a 'mathematically determined Vastu', will surround the building and that the centre of the building would incorporate a Brahmasthan, a 'silent core or nucleus', outlined with marble floor.

Abramson, a partner in the real estate development company, Towers Cos, is a longtime practitioner of the Transcendental Meditation programme. He said that he learned about the healing effects of Vedic Architecture after moving into his own home which was built on the Vastu Shastra principles of universal harmony and order.

Abramson said when employees spend 90 per cent of their time indoors it is better to build an environment for the person to succeed. 'That's why I am interested in Vedic Architecture,' he was quoted as saying.

Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total Knowledge based— programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
