In the Global Press Conference last week on 4 April, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, outlined the opportunities for investment in projects to alleviate suffering in the world.

Dr Morris said that in New York there are people with the ability to invest enormous sums of money, and the Global Financial Capital of New York would be very happy to guide them how to invest their money in such a way that the fundamental problems of the world could now be solved to alleviate suffering in the different areas of life.

'Everybody likes to make money,' Dr Morris said, 'but there are many people who, in addition to making money, are very fond of doing something good in the world while they are also making a profit.'

This is what the programmes of the Global Financial Capital of New York offer to them. By virtue of their investment in these programmes, they could completely change the whole quality of life of their nation in a way that is quite unprecedented, that has never been known before in history.

This is what we would like to offer them in these six progammes of the Global Financial Capital, Dr Morris said.

For example, investment could be done to build housing in Maharishi University of Management and Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, Dr Morris said, where already there is a group of about 1,800 Yogic Flyers—experts in creating peace and harmony in the collective consciousness of the whole nation.

There are already about 450 Vedic Pandits from India who have joined that group, and more housing is needed there, Dr Morris said. They are being supported by a great American philanthropist, Dr Howard Settle, but more Pandits could come to be part of that group. More and more could be done to intensity the power of this group in Iowa.

In the centre point of the United States, in north central Kansas, 50 colleges are being constructed. Twelve hundred acres of land have been purchased and now these 50 colleges are being built, one for each state of the country—for young people aspiring to gain the highest level of education, based not in fragments of knowledge, but in Total Knowledge; and to gain not just information, but Enlightenment and the power to use their total brain.

Investment and financing is required to bring up this university at the centre point of the United States.

Another example is in the corresponding Brahmasthan, or center point of India, where a group of 16,000 Vedic Pandits is being created. They are Yogic Flying Vedic Pandits who will be taking care of 192 countries to make sure that no negativity befalls them, that every danger is averted, by using the powerful Vedic Yagyas (Vedic performances), from the ancient Vedic tradition of India to avert the danger that has not yet come.

Any nation needs to have such a group, and investors from any country could create groups of Yogic Flyers in schools and universities, in any form whatsoever.

'So this is a way that investors could do something phenomenally good for their country,' said Dr Morris, 'that would crown the nation with Invincibility.'
