Dr Jeffrey Abramson, partner in the largest 'green' real estate development company in the Washington DC area in the United States, spoke recently on Maharishi Global Family Chat about the award-winning Maharishi Sthapatya Veda office building recently completed by his company.

In Part I of this article Dr Abramson spoke about the influence of this building and the tours given to educate the public and those interested in office space about Vastu buildings.

People visiting the building are advised to 'use their senses', because, Dr Abramson explained, 'the first time in a green, Vedic building is the first time that your senses are enlivened in the quality of beauty. For the sense of sight, the building is filled with light; for the sense of hearing, you can't hear anything. The mechanical system of the building is so refined it doesn't violate the silence.'

For the sense of smell, there is nothing toxic in the building; for the sense of feeling, is the feeling that 'I love being in this environment.' 'This redefines what a work environment should feel like. This is why people want to come here, why they come here early, and run to work,' Dr Abramson said.

People understand for the first time the major components to increase productivity, to keep people in the business, and allow the business to grow—by investing in the people; and 'that can only be done holistically by the office space: the office environment is the key,' he said. 'And the key to that is Vedic or Vastu.

'It's a great gift and physical science that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has given us—to be able to capture infinity inside the walls, and inside that infinity we come to work every day,' said Dr Abramson. 'All we want is to see this great gift to the world continue and grow, and to show it off! The best way to do that is to hear the experiences of our employees.'

Global Good News will present an article of these experiences in the coming days.
