Solar powered phone charging stations for PNG

On 6 December 2013 Australia Network News reported: People living in rural and remote parts of Papua New Guinea will be able to recharge their mobile phones at solar stations as part of network being set up throughout the country. As part of the project, the stations will be run as small businesses with local people selling the solar power for a small fee. The first unit in a pilot project of 30 was launched at Hula, a town about three hours from the capital Port Moresby.
