Ireland warmly welcomes Maharishi's programmes

Recently media attention has been given to Maharishi's programmes in Ireland. Two weeks ago Southeast Radio featured an overview of Maharishi's programmes for world peace. The radio programme was meant to be 10 minutes long, but the producers extended it to 25 minutes because the topic was so engaging.

The radio host was very interested in all of Maharishi's programmes, and the interview ranged from benefits of Transcendental Meditation to Consciousness-Based Education, to invincibility for the nation.

One of the concepts most appreciated in the interview was the function of the Financial Capital of Ireland and its ability to increase human and social potential for the benefit of the nation through all of Maharishi's programmes.

During the radio interview, calls came in from the audience suggesting that these programmes be supported, as they would benefit all of society—and other enthusiastic individuals called afterwards.

There has also been media coverage in Ireland of a physician trained in Maharishi Ayur-Veda, regarding his experience practising Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health. The media highlighted Maharishi Ayur-Veda's focus on health instead of disease. Maharishi Ayur-Veda, the media reported, provides a framework for individuals to take responsibility for their own ideal state of health—through diet, lifestyle, physiological programmes and also by living and working in buildings constructed according to the architectural principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.

In addition, Dr Ashley Deans, Director of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa, USA recently toured Ireland and inspired hundreds of educators with presentations on the benefits of Consciousness-Based Education.

A leader of the Global Country of World Peace in Ireland commented that the whole world is inspired by the great breakthrough last week of the joint government being established again in Ireland. He said that this is the beautiful effect of the groups of Yogic Flyers in Ireland—and near Ireland in Holland and Denmark—and the US where more than 1,800 Yogic Flyers are contributing to the rise of invincibility in their nations and the world.
