Celebrations planned throughout the year in Switzerland

A grand programme of twelve celebrations throughout the year has been organized by leaders of the Global Country of World Peace in Switzerland. Locations have been selected in order that all four language groups of Switzerland will be included. Some of the celebration sites, such as Seelisberg on Lake Lucerne, are of special significance in the history of Maharishi's worldwide activities.

The annual celebrations will also encompass days of special importance in Swiss history, such as the National Day, and the day of adoption of the Swiss constitution.

These celebrations will provide the whole community with an inspiration for higher knowledge and greater achievement, and will beautifully enrich the local modes of celebration in each area, harmonizing the diverse cultural values within the country. Celebrations create increased happiness and fulfillment in the life of individuals and the whole society as the nation grows in the values of Raam Raj—Heaven on Earth.
