The Transcendental Meditation Programme and its wide-ranging benefits were recently featured on the London Broadcasting Company (LBC) radio network, which reaches millions of listeners in and around London.
Renowned actress Jeni Barnett, who is also a presenter on LBC, was inspired to discuss Transcendental Meditation as a result of the tour* of Dr Fred Travis, Director of the Center for Brain, Consciousness, and Cognition at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.
Ms Barnett spoke extensively about her own experience with Transcendental Meditation, and she also invited Dr Charles Cunningham, National Director of Communication for the Global Country of World Peace in Great Britain, to speak during the half-hour show on 8 May.
Dr Cunningham beautifully described what Transcendental Meditation is, its scientifically verified benefits, and the difference between Transcendental Meditation and other forms of meditation in terms of scientific research, said Raja Peter Warburton, Raja of Invincible Great Britain for the Global Country of World Peace.
After the radio show, an influential professional who treats teenagers with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) contacted the national Transcendental Meditation office, Raja Peter said. She not only wanted to learn the programme, but requested that experts come and speak to her organization for ADHD**.
