One stop during the very full day Oprah Winfrey recently spent in Fairfield and Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA was a visit to a Maharishi Vastu* home.

Oprah's visit to the area was to film for a program on her new weekly primetime television series, ''Oprah's Next Chapter'' on the OWN network.

The show about Fairfield and Maharishi Vedic City, titled ''Oprah Visits America's Most Unusual Town'', airs in North America this Sunday evening, March 25, and will be available after that online on the ''Oprah's Next Chapter'' website.

During the episode, Oprah's journey begins at a unique Fairfield school where twice-daily Transcendental Meditation (TM) is a part of the curriculum.

In addition to segments about Consciousness-Based Education at Maharishi University of Management and Maharishi School, Oprah also wanted to learn and present to her viewers more about the local community, where many people practice Transcendental Meditation.

This included touring a house in Maharishi Vedic City—named after the founder of the TM organization. Here, all houses face east, adhering to the ancient system of Maharishi Vastu architecture, creating an influence of peace and harmony.

Her guide at the Vastu home was Jon Lipman, Director of Fortune-Creating Buildings.

At the end of the day Oprah practiced Transcendental Meditation in the Golden Dome with women in the Fairfield and Vedic City community:
