Oprah visits 'America's most unusual town' - Primetime TV broadcast, Sunday 25 March

A primetime TV programme produced by Oprah Winfrey for her weekly 'Oprah's Next Chapter' series will be broadcast this Sunday evening, 25 March on the OWN network.

The show follows Oprah through a very full day in Fairfield and Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA—'one of the safest, greenest and most unusual communities in America.'

Broadcast schedule:
Sunday 25 March – 9:00pm/8:00pm US Central TIME on OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network.

After filming segments at Maharishi School and in the Fairfield and Maharishi Vedic City communities, Oprah joined 'housewives, engineers, waitresses, lawyers, moms and single women at the Golden Dome of Pure Knowledge for evening meditation—a powerful, energizing, yet calming experience', she wrote in the February issue of 'O' magazine: 'What Oprah knows for sure about finding the fullest expression of yourself'.

Describing how she felt as she left the Dome after this meditation session, Oprah said, 'I walked away feeling fuller than when I came in, full of hope and a sense of contentment and deep joy—knowing for sure that in the craziness of the world that seems to bombard us at every angle, there is always the consistency of stillness.'
