On November 5 in Los Angeles, the David Lynch Foundation (DLF) will be honoring four ''Wonder Women''—Jill Black, Lena Dunham, Jane Fonda, and New Village Girls Academy principal, Dr. Andrea Purcell. The event is a benefit to support the Foundation's Los Angeles programs to bring the healing and transformative effects of Transcendental Meditation to underserved schoolchildren and veterans suffering from post traumatic stress.

Studies have proven Transcendental Meditation to have strong and positive effects with students, veterans, and active military.

''Together, we can build resilient communities in Los Angeles and help our city continue to shine throughout the world,'' said Lynn Kaplan, DLF director in Los Angeles.
