On 10 August 2022 The Guardian reported: A London museum is to return 72 treasured artifacts, including its collection of Benin bronzes, to Nigeria in what experts described as an 'immensely significant' moment. Global Good News service views this news as a sign of rising positivity in the field of culture, documenting the growth of life-supporting, evolutionary trends.

Oxford and Cambridge Universities announced last week that they would return more than 200 between them.
