The annual Summer Institute for the Development and Training of Consciousness-Based Educators will be held in June this year, with three-day, four-day, and one-week options.
The purpose of the Institute is to provide deep rest and rejuvenation for educators and others in the helping professions. It also offers profound and practical knowledge of Consciousness-Based education, its goals, practices, and outcomes.
The weeklong course is available for graduate credit or for continuing education credit.
The three-day course will be held June 4-6 and will cover the unique goals and benefits of Consciousness-Based education; how to present Consciousness-Based education; recent news, findings, and developments; and the principle of knowing and Being.
The four-day course, held June 4-7, will add presentations by Maharishi School teachers and staff.
The seven-day course, held June 4-11, will add Unified Field Charts; curriculum design; the Science of Creative Intelligence® as a framework for interdisciplinary teaching; Maharishi's Principles of Ideal Teaching in the classroom; and Consciousness-Based classroom management
Even though the course is tailored for educators, anyone who has learned the Transcendental Meditation program may attend.
The format will be that of a Residence Course for practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation program, and participation in the Creating Coherence Program combined with afternoon and evening meetings for those who practice the TM-Sidhi program.
