On 1 October 2005 Yale Daily News reported: David Lynch talked to the Yale Daily News regarding his upcoming lecture, his newly formed David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace, and his vision for helping create world peace. Lynch told reporter David Sadighian, 'We're like light bulbs. We glow through consciousness!' It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring fulfilment to the field of education.

When asked if there was a conflict with his religious background, Lynch dismissed the idea, saying, 'There's no conflict. The first thing is the Kingdom of Heaven. And when you dive within, and you become part of the light, you're reaching that place. It's a wonderful, wonderful thing.'

Lynch described his own experience of meditation: 'Negative things begin to leave you. It's a really phenomenal thing, like all your hunger leaving, it's just such a freeing feeling.'

'What I like so very much about this meditation is that you can take what you've learned and go about your business,' Lynch continued. 'I can use those classroom techniques anywhere, which is ideal for me as a filmmaker.'

'For me as a director, the technique is essentially money in the bank,' he went on to say. 'In the film business, there's pressure coming at you from everywhere, and this (meditation) teaches you how to deal with those life pressures. Basically, the events of your life will stay the same, but the way you approach them will be different.'

The reporter noted that in both his movies and his practice of meditation, Lynch is searching for an underlying truth. 'You're right on the money with that,' Lynch said. 'We're all like detectives in life. There's something at the end of the trail that we're all looking for.'

Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
