Sofia Iwobi in Sports Illustrated

Maharishi School girls basketball player Sofia Iwobi continues to earn accolades as a result of her stellar season, most recently being highlighted in the 'Faces in the Crowd' section of Sports Illustrated.
The item mentioned Ms. Iwobi's extraordinary performance in the regional championship, in which she scored 49 points, as well as noting that she was named to the first-team All State and was a McDonald's High School All-American finalist.
She led her team to the state tournament and next year will play for the University of Vermont, a Division I school.
