Easing the academic pressure on children in school through Consciousness-Based Education - Part II

In the Global Press Conference on 14 March, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, President of Maharishi University of Management, and Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment, answered a parent's question about how Maharishi's Consciousness-Based Education will ease the concern and pressure of parents on their children to work hard and get the best grades in order to get into the best schools, colleges, and universities.

When the students study with a more awakened brain [through Consciousness-Based Education], they are able in a much more effortless way to absorb the knowledge. Their container of knowledge has been expanded, Dr Morris explained. 'They are able to enjoy gaining knowledge, to be enthusiastic to learn, because of this awakening of their total brain—which is to say, the awakening of their creativity, their receptivity, of their intelligence, and of their simple joy of living.'

Every field of knowledge the child learns in terms of its origin in the Unified Field of Natural Law; that all knowledge is one, one grand wholeness of knowledge, Total Knowledge, and that Total knowledge is in my own Transcendental Consciousness in my own Self, Dr Morris explained.

'So the children feel at home with everything, they feel connected to everything they study.' said Dr Morris. 'They feel that everything is an expression of their own consciousness in its unbounded state.'

'Then they grow up to become Yogic Flyers, the advanced technique of Transcendental Meditation, which intensifies all the effects of Transcendental Meditation and gives the subjective experience of bubbling bliss,' Dr Morris continued. 'There are big smiles of joy and bliss in the student's life.'

So if anyone wants success for their children, this is what they should do, Dr Morris said. This is what they should have either in an existing school; get all the children to meditate in the school your child already goes to. Or have a new school that is a Consciousness-Based school in your area.

'Let the children grow up joyfully, peacefully, and with the basis for unlimited success, because when they think, they get established at this level of the transcendental field, the field of Total Knowledge—whatever they think from that level is so powerful, they gain success, not through exhaustion and stress and strain, which take away the very joy of living, but through soft, powerful thought, thought motivated by the basic intelligence that administers the universe,' Dr Morris said.

That cosmic intelligence supports their thought to effortlessly gain fulfillment. 'They engage the managing intelligence of the universe to support them in whatever it is they achieve effortlessly,' Dr Morris said.
