Education conference third in live broadcast series from Global Financial Capital of New York

A Global Conference entitled 'Education for Enlightenment: A Field-Tested Approach to Develop the Total Brain and Creative Potential of Every Student' was held Monday 16 April at the Global Financial Capital of New York. This conference was the third in a continuing series on the knowledge and programmes offered by the Global Financial Capital for the benefit of every area of society, in every nation. The conferences are broadcast live on the Maharishi Channel via satellite and also over the Internet.

Today's programme was hosted by leaders of the Global Country of World Peace: Dr John Hagelin, Minister of Science and Technology, and Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister. Dr Morris is also President of Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, and a world expert in Consciousness-Based Education. The programme also included presentations by Dr Fred Travis, Director of the Center for Brain, Consciousness, and Cognition at Maharishi University of Management, and Dr Ashley Deans, Director of the highly acclaimed Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment, also in Fairfield.
