Many peace-creating initiatives of the Global Country of World Peace are gaining momentum in New England, USA.

Connecticut
Consciousness-Based Education continues to expand in Connecticut, where 160 students at a school in Hartford have recently learned Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Technique. It is anticipated that this number will rise to 1,000 in the near future.

Reporting on experiences of the students, Dr Joshua Pitman, a teacher of Transcendental Meditation, said that one student commented after his first meditation, 'I had no idea it could be so easy to end suffering!'

The teachers and school principal noticed a transformation to a more harmonious atmosphere in the school, and even students who previously had difficulties were found to be enjoying a more harmonious school life.

New York
At the Global Financial Capital in New York, a fourth series of conferences is underway on the application of Total Knowledge for all areas of society. Experts are invited to attend the conferences where they will hear knowledge relevant to their field from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and International Ministers of the Global Country of World Peace. Delegates are then invited to share their ideas for implementing Maharishi's programmes for invincibility.
