Philippines leader highlights breakthroughs in establishing Consciousness-Based Education for ladies

Dr Josephine Castillo, Director of Consciousness-Based Education for Ladies in the Philippines, reported on the most recent developments and successes in her nation during a special live global broadcast on 19 July 2007. Her presentation was part of the 'Global Celebration of Consciousness-Based Education for Mothers in Every Generation', which was featured during the commencement ceremonies of Maharishi University of Enlightenment. Following is a transcript of Dr Castillo's talk.

'On behalf of the Board for Consciousness-Based Education for Ladies, I would like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Raj Rajeshwari (Administrator of ladies' programmes of the Global Country of World Peace) for the Philippines, who has been guiding us in organizing Consciousness-Based Schools for ladies.

'We have a population of 88 million and we need 1,000 Yogic Flyers to make our country invincible.

'We have gathered a group of top ladies who delight in being called 'Mothers for Invincibility of the Philippines.' They are actively involved in creating invincibility for the Philippines through the establishment of Consciousness-Based Schools.

'Last week, we held our first National Weekend to train the ladies to start Consciousness-Based Schools. Everyone now feels more confident with the very concrete steps of action to set one up.

'In addition to establishing our own schools, the ladies are also promoting the implementation of Consciousness-Based Education in existing schools.

'We recently had a breakthrough in a university school complex with 15,000 students where we made a successful presentation to the President, Vice-President, Deans, and the Principals of the elementary and high schools.

'Everyone was enthusiastic to implement the programme in their respective departments, and we are expecting a letter of intent to start the programme for 1,000 students in the high school.

'One of our National Board members is currently involved in the development of 500 hectares that will soon become a new city, 40 minutes north of Metro Manila. She has been given several hectares in this planned city—enough land for an Invincibility School, a Peace Palace, and a Health Spa, all to be built according to Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.

'With the Vedic wisdom of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Guru Dev*, and the Holy Tradition of Vedic Masters we are quickly proceeding towards putting up our own Consciousness-Based Education School for girls and creating a group of 1,000 Yogic Flyers so that Philippines will rise to invincibility.
