30 January 2009
The National Directors of Syria for the Global Country of World Peace have taken the first steps in introducing the Transcendental Meditation Programme into an Armenian school within their country.
Raja Lucien Mansour, Raja of Invincible Syria for the Global Country of World Peace, reported on 20 January 2009 that the National Directors have already held successful meetings with school officials. They've gained approval from the school principal and committee members of the local Armenian Union to have the Transcendental Meditation Programme introduced and practised within the school community. They've now begun teaching the TM Programme to staff members, teachers and counselors, and the principal himself.
'The Armenian school is among the oldest and most reputed schools in the country,' said Raja Lucien. 'With 4,100 students,' he continued, 'the project of implementing Transcendental Meditation could take several months.' He added that both the school and the Armenian Union building have auspicious east entrances, in accord with Vastu principles. 'The National Directors could feel the effect of the buildings' orientations through the dominating silence and the depth of inquiries put forth by teachers and committee members,' said Raja Lucien.
On a final note, Raja Lucien reported that the National Directors are trying to start a Transcendental Meditation fund for students at the Armenian school, a move which may motivate other Syrian educational institutions to do the same.
