Success of Consciousness-Based Education inspires United Arab Emirates universities

In his recent Consciousness-Based Education tour, Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador of Consciousness-Based Education for the Global Country of World Peace, met with administrators of many universities throughout the United Arab Emirates.

Inspired by Dr Deans' presentation, the president of one university is looking into the possibility of offering Consciousness-Based Education to nearly 4,000 students at his school.

The administrator especially appreciated the scientific basis of the programme, Dr Deans said, and the research showing benefits to the nation as a whole when one per cent of a population practises the Transcendental Meditation Programme, or the square root of one per cent of a population practises Yogic Flying as a group.*

A former professor at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA organized a lecture for Dr Deans at another university. The lecture was very enthusiastically received and afterwards local Teachers of Transcendental Meditation received many phone calls asking, 'When can I learn?'

The large audience at another university had never heard of this knowledge, Dr Deans said, and yet they had a profound grasp of the fundamentals of Consciousness-Based Education. This university is considering offering Transcendental Meditation first to the faculty, Dr Deans reported.

At another school, Dr Deans spoke to about 50 teachers. They were so excited, he said, that they asked for a written proposal to teach both the faculty and students.

Dr Deans said that throughout his worldwide tours, he's found that teachers in general are a very receptive audience. They are highly stressed and realize how much Consciousness-Based Education will benefit their students and themselves.

Commenting on Dr Deans' talk, Raja Peter Warburton, Raja of Invincible United Arab Emirates for the Global Country of World Peace, said that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi put great emphasis on schools because this ideal education creates invincibility for the nation and develops citizens who will create an ideal world.

DVDs are available with Dr Deans' talks that are very useful in presenting Consciousness-Based Education. The world is opening to this knowledge—it just has to be presented, Raja Peter concluded.

*This scientifically verified phenomenon is known as the Maharishi Effect.
