Growing enlightened students and organic agriculture in Spain, Portugal, and Mozambique

Many significant projects are underway in Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries of Europe and Africa, featuring Consciousness-Based Education, communication, and Vedic Organic Agriculture, reported Dr Antonio Bartolome, Raja (Administrator) of the Global Country of World Peace whose domain includes these countries.

Some of the highlights include:

A major publicity campaign is underway to promote an upcoming conference in Barcelona with Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador of Consciousness-Based Education for the Global Country of World Peace. Dr Deans, who is also Executive Director of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in the USA, has been on a world tour presenting the research and success of Consciousness-Based Education. Press releases have been sent to thousands of administrators, educators, and journalists. Already several hundred from Madrid and Barcelona alone have confirmed their attendance.

A new channel on YouTube has been created featuring Spanish language videos about the Transcendental Meditation Technique, and interviews with school leaders around the world speaking about Consciousness-Based Education. See www.youtube.com/canalmaharishi.

Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture is growing in Spain. Currently 16 hectares are in production, including a 1,500 square metre greenhouse, and the operation will soon expand.

The National Director of the Global Country of World Peace in Portugal has obtained property in Lisbon for a Maharishi Invincibility Centre, which will offer the Transcendental Meditation Programme, founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Advanced techniques of Transcendental Meditation and group conferences will also be offered.

In Mozambique, a technical university with 700 students is introducing courses on Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture and Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health. While receiving their education, the students will create an influence of invincibility, peace, and prosperity for the nation by practising together the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying.
