Schools in Holland look to Consciousness-Based Education to fulfil students' potential

Consciousness-Based Education is proving to be of great interest among several schools in Holland. Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador of the Global Country of World Peace for Consciousness-Based Education, visited these schools this past week during his continuing international education tour.
One of the schools is a secondary school with nearly 400 students that already uses many principles of Consciousness-Based Education. The school's philosophy is that education is not only about getting a diploma, but about becoming a good person, said Dr Paul Gelderloos, National Director of Holland for the Global Country of World Peace. The school believes that every student has infinite potential.
The head of the school had many questions for Dr Deans about how to implement the Transcendental Meditation Technique in the school, and Dr Deans explained how simply this can be done.
After a tour of the school, Dr Deans gave a presentation to the entire faculty, which was very well received.
Other highlights of Dr Deans' visit in Holland included a presentation to another school interested in Consciousness-Based Education, and a meeting with the faculty of a recently acquired private school. The faculty were enthusiastic and appreciative of his presentation, Dr Gelderloos said.
Dr Gelderloos emphasized the need to present this educational programme in countries throughout the world, as there seems to be increasing interest once schools hear about it.
