Many in Bali enjoy Transcendental Meditation Programme

The recent Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training course in the eastern region of Thailand, near the Cambodia border, was held in an academy built by the national Transcendental Meditation organization. Originally constructed for several hundred Maharishi Vedic Pandits, the academy is now used regularly for courses, and includes a Maharishi Ayur Veda Spa. It is also home to a group of Mother Divine Programme* participants.

Continuing his presentation about his visit to Thailand for the completion of the Teacher Training Course, Dr Dominique Lemoine expressed fulfilment in the beautiful experience of seeing the students transformed into Teachers of Transcendental Meditation through their training programme.

Dr Lemoine showed a photo of the group of new Teachers from Indonesia, where Maharishi Invincibility Centres have already been established, offering the Transcendental Meditation Programme in Jakarta and Bali. Bali has kept lively the ancient Vedic culture, he said, still retaining many beautiful structures and Vedic Pandits.

The people there are eager to support Maharishi's teaching, and Consciousness-Based Education has been introduced in many schools. Several thousand people are now practising the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme on the island—many many practising together in groups, creating coherence and invincibility for their nation.

Two years ago a Teacher Training Course was also held in Thailand, graduating about 19 new Teachers for Indonesia, Dr Lemoine said.

* 'Mother Divine' refers to the nourishing, evolutionary power of Natural Law lively within all of creation and within the silent consciousness of everyone. The Mother Divine Programme, inaugurated in 1981, is an advanced programme to allow ladies the opportunity to deepen their experiences of the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programmes and enliven 24-hour bliss in daily life; and to radiate a powerful global influence of harmony and bliss through large, permanent coherence-creating groups, and through inspiring the activities of the Global Mother Divine Organization in 192 countries.
