Ministry of Education of the Global Country of World Peace: Offering a wide range of Consciousness-Based Education courses

The Ministry of Education of the Global Country of World Peace currently offers about 30 different courses in the area of Consciousness-Based Education and programmes. These courses have been made available through the dedicated work of the International Course Development Office of the Global Mother Divine Organization*, and the International Video Department of the Global Country of World Peace.

Further achievements in education include the Course Materials Office, established about one year ago to offer courses in the form of DVDs and other materials.

Presenting these achievements of his Ministry at the global celebration of Guru Purnima inJuly, Dr Volker Schanbacher, Minister of Education of the Global Country of World Peace, also reported that many sets of DVDs have been ordered by Teachers of Transcendental Meditation around the world. This includes materials for courses offered by the Global Mother Divine Organization, as well as for Transcendental Meditation courses.

Another important area of activity in the last year was the preparation of charts and video animations for exhibitions at educational institutions and at Maharishi Towers of Invincibility. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi inspired the use of large, high definition video screens for presenting his knowledge to students in Consciousness-Based universities.

Dr Schanbacher described in more detail the use of multimedia technologies, which is being explored for presenting Maharishi's knowledge in the Towers of Invincibility. These technologies include interactive video animations, a tour through the universe in a planetarium, and 3-D television, which will soon be available commercially; as well printed charts and set-ups where one can switch between, for example, eight different charts in one set-up.

Dr Schanbacher expressed his deep gratitude to Maharishi for bestowing this supreme Vedic knowledge to raise education to the level of perfection. He also thanked Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam for guiding all the activities of the Global Country of World Peace from his level of silence.**
