International experts in Consciousness-Based Education to tour Spain in 2010

Two international experts in Consciousness-Based Education will tour Spain in February and March 2010.

Raja Antonio Bartolome, Raja of Spain for the Global Country of World Peace, announced the tours during his report on the Maharishi Channel* about new developments in Consciousness-Based Education in his country.

Raja Antonio has organized for Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education, to tour Basque country in northern Spain in early February 2010, where he will give public conferences as well as meeting with school principals, teachers, and other education officials.

Raja Antonio has already contacted several hundred schools to begin generating interest in the events, and has met with 20 to 30 school principals in the region. 'We will continue contacting school leaders and preparing for the visit of Dr Deans in the coming months,' he said. 'We have a clear goal, and that is to quickly begin projects in the area—eventually creating a substantial group of student Yogic Flyers to secure invincibility for Basque country and for the entire nation.'

Also planning to tour Spain, in March 2010, is Dr Fred Travis, director of the Center for Brain, Consciousness, and Cognition at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.

Dr Travis will deliver public lectures in Madrid, Barcelona, and other major cities, and meet with groups of principals, teachers, and heads of companies. 'Dr Travis will illuminate the scientifically proven benefits of Transcendental Meditation and other programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the areas of education and business,' added Raja Antonio.

In conclusion, Raja Antonio expressed the intention that these tours by Dr Deans and Dr Travis would inspire the many teachers and principals of Spain who have expressed interest in Consciousness-Based Education to take the next step and implement the programme.
