Interest in Consciousness-Based Education is soaring in Bali. Two Consciousness-Based Education seminars drew large, highly attentive audiences; several school administrators attended a weekend Maharishi Invincibility Centre course on the topic; and a new board focussing on Consciousness-Based Education has been established to continue the momentum.

During his recent visit to Bali, Raja Willem Meijles, Raja of Invincible Indonesia for the Global Country of World Peace, focussed on expansion of Consciousness-Based Education.*

In addition to visiting schools** where hundreds of students already practise the Transcendental Meditation Programme, and inspiring more schools to implement the programme, Raja Willem presented Consciousness-Based Education to leaders, educators, and students in Bali.

Raja Willem was invited to present Consciousness-Based Education at a seminar held at an educational institution in the capital city. Two hundred fifty people attended—primarily educators, and also some students. Everyone listened avidly—a level of 'absolutely undivided attention' unusual for education seminars, Raja Willem learned afterwards.

Leaders of the host institution met with Raja Willem afterwards to further discuss possibilities for their students. They presented Raja Willem with gifts as expressions of their appreciation.

Raja Willem was invited to speak about Consciousness-Based Education at a second seminar. His presentation generated great interest and excellent questions from the audience. A video presentation of Yogic Flying created tremendous enthusiasm, Raja Willem said.

A mayor in Bali has also expressed his support for Consciousness-Based Education in his city.

Twelve people attended a 16-hour Consciousness-Based Education course held at a Maharishi Invincibility Centre.* Among this group were two school directors, two school teachers, and a school administrator.

A new board—to focus mainly on Consciousness-Based Education—was established during Raja Willem's stay. Members of the board include young, dynamic Teachers of Transcendental Meditation. Raja Willem expressed his confidence in this strong team.

* Raja Willem's report was featured on the 12 November 2009 Maharishi Global Family Chat, broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also now available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.

* Maharishi Invincibility Centres in major cities around the world offer the knowledge and programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, including the Transcendental Meditation Programme, to promote enlightenment for every individual and invincibility for every nation through development of full potential in every area of life.
