The benefits of Transcendental Meditation for ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) are outlined in a new book published by Macmillan, entitled Teaching and ADHD in the South African Classroom, produced by ADHASA, the Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Support Group of Southern Africa.

Described as a resource for teachers, the book includes all kinds of approaches to managing and treating ADHD, a condition that afflicts a significant and growing proportion of South African children.

The page on Transcendental Meditation deals with the benefits of Transcendental Meditation for learners in overcoming ADHD and highlights in particular the published international research showing significant improvements in ADHD symptoms and underlying problems.
