The Maharishi School in Australia is an example of the unity and mutual support that grows among students enjoying Consciousness-Based Education.

During a recent tour of many countries,* Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, visited Australia and spent time at the school.

'It was just like nectar to be in that school,' Dr Morris commented.**

'I found one of the features of that school—which I think we see everywhere there are Consciousness-Based schools in the world—is the complete unity of the children with each other,' he continued.

He described one of the students: a seventh-grade girl with 'a great interest in sustainability, things that are ''green''—matters of life in harmony with Natural Law'. The students 'went wild with applause', Dr Morris continued, when this student read a beautiful poem she had written.

Unlike many other schools where intense competition predominates, these students were delighted that one of their peers had done such outstanding work.

This kind of positive reaction is not out of the ordinary at Maharishi Schools, Dr Morris commented. 'Wherever Maharishi Mahesh Yogi introduced his Consciousness-Based Education the children are delightfully unified and mutually supporting and loving. It's a beautiful thing to see.'

Dr Morris was also pleased to report that the school received official support for its most recent Vastu building. This is 'another clear sign' of increasing support for Maharishi's ideal education, Dr Morris commented.

In the coming days, Global Good News will feature the continuation of Dr Morris's report, including the success of Consciousness-Based Education in New Zealand.
