Students, teachers, and administrators at the Maharishi Secondary School in Uganda all give glowing reports about the school, and the tremendous positive impact of the Transcendental Meditation Programme. Students are enthusiastic and successful—exemplary in their behaviour, focus, and academic performance.
Raja Graham de Freitas, Raja of Invincible Uganda for the Global Country of World Peace, presented a video about this school, where all of the students practise Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Transcendental Meditation Programme.*
In the video, the school's Headmistress comments that she's 'taught in all types of schools' and finds that the students at the Maharishi School are 'disciplined and eager to learn'.
One teacher states that before coming to this school, teaching had been so stressful that she was thinking of changing occupations. Now that she is at the Maharishi School, she says she 'will never leave' her profession.
Students also are full of praise for the school. One student says that after meditating she feels she has enough energy and mental clarity to achieve anything, and fulfil her 'desire to do important things'.
In the coming days, Global Good News will feature the continuation of comments from teachers and students, especially about improved academic performance at the school.

* Raja Graham de Freitas's report was featured on the 3 June 2010 Maharishi Global Family Chat, broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also now available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.
