Distinguished delegation from Balkans visits MERU, Holland

A distinguished delegation of leaders from the Balkan region in Europe was recently welcomed in MERU, Holland.

The delegation included a top leader in education and diplomacy in Albania and Macedonia, another leader of a large university in Macedonia with branches in other countries, and the mayor of a Macedonian city.

The delegation was introduced in an assembly of administrators of the organizations teaching the Transcendental Meditation Programme around the world. Two of its members had visited MERU in 2007 and met with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

Each of the three visitors addressed the assembly, expressing their deep understanding and appreciation of Maharishi's programmes and the importance of implementing Consciousness-Based Education, including the Transcendental Meditation Programme, to create an invincible, permanent state of peace, harmony, coherence, and progress in the Balkan countries and for all of Europe.

Global Good News will continue featuring the visit of the delegation from Albania and Macedonia in the coming days.
