Around the world, interest in Consciousness-Based Education is increasing among students, parents, educators, and government officials—who see it not only as a solution to the pressing problems of education today, but also as a means to create a more peaceful, harmonious world.
Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education, reported significant interest during his recent Consciousness-Based Education tour.
Educational leaders in two countries expressed interest in organizing Consciousness-Based Education conferences for educators, saying that Consciousness-Based Education provides a solution to educational problems facing their nations.
Consciousness-Based Education offers students myriad benefits, including greater academic achievement, increased creativity, reduced anxiety, and reduced substance abuse.
Students can also help create peace, harmony, and progress in their nations through group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Programme and Yogic Flying.
These leaders also supported the establishment of coherence-creating groups of Yogic Flyers. When one education official heard about the goal of creating a group of 350 Yogic Flyers for peace, harmony, and invincibility in her country, she responded, 'Why only 350? Why not 20,000 for world peace?'
