The article features 16 new students from China who arrived at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA this spring, the first group from the University's new partner institutions, including one in Beijing, one in Qiongzhou on Hainan Island, and one in Jilin province in Northeastern China. MUM already has an ongoing partnership with the Overseas Chinese College of the Capital University of Economics and Business in Beijing.

Five students are undergraduates with plans to major in literature or business, while the other eleven are in the MBA programme.

'MUM is a harmonious and green campus,' said student Yingdi Shao. 'The relationships among students are very friendly. Although we came from different countries and cultural backgrounds, we really feel like a big family, caring for and loving each other.'
