The article features recent comments by clinical psychologist and author Robert Puff, Ph.D., in Psychology Today.

Fall can be a stressful time for students, Dr Puff says. He recommends meditation as a way to ease stress, in particular citing research published in the American Journal of Hypertension that found measurable decreases in blood pressure and heart rate in inner-city black adolescents who practised the Transcendental Meditation Technique, compared with the control group.
