Maharishi University of Management to celebrate 40th anniversary, 12 September

On Monday 12 September, Maharishi University of Management will celebrate the 40th anniversary of its founding by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. A grand celebration will be held Monday on the MUM campus in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.

Addressing the celebration will be distinguished University leaders including Dr Bevan Morris, President and Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Trustees; Dr John Hagelin,* Honorary Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Professor of Physics; and founding President Dr Keith Wallace, also a Trustee, as well as Chair and Professor of Physiology and Health.

Also speaking at the celebration will be other dignitaries who were present at the University's founding and the move from its original campus in Santa Barbara, California, to the Fairfield campus in 1974.

A special highlight of the celebration will be videos of Maharishi speaking about the University through many years of its illustrious history as the flagship institution of Consciousness-Based Education in the world.

* Dr Hagelin is also Director of the Institute of Science, Technology and Public Policy, and Executive Director of the International Center for Invincible Defense.
