The success of several undergraduate programs that have had strong interest among undergraduate students has inspired Maharishi University of Management to launch master's degrees in these same areas, with the ultimate goal of eventually offering half a dozen MA programs online via distance education.

The MA in Maharishi Vedic Science began to be offered via distance education last month. And next fall, a new MA in Media and Communications will launch on campus that will focus on filmmaking.


Other new MA programs being planned are Sustainable Living and Integrative Health. The MA in Sustainable Living, targeted for fall 2014, will focus on creating sustainable communities.


The MA in integrative health, inspired by the success of the undergraduate program in physiology, will focus on integrating science-based alternative medicine into health care.

In addition, materials are now being prepared for an online MBA, and planning is underway to offer the M.S. in Computer Science via distance ed.
