Speaking at a recent Global Press Conference on Unified Field-Based Agriculture, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, elaborated on the use of Vedic sounds to nourish the life of the plants for maximum nutrition and benefit to those who eat them.

Dr Morris explained that a major feature of the programme that Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture farmers will learn at the new university north of New York City is how to use the Vedic sounds effectively to completely nourish the life of the plant.

The Rishis, or seers, from the ancient Vedic Tradition of India revealed that in the Vedic literature, the Vedic sounds are Nitya and Apaurusheya, they are eternal and unmanifest. They are not human songs or hymns; there is nothing human in their creation. They are the eternal sounds of the unmanifest, abstract field of consciousness, the Unified Field, that were cognized by the great Vedic Rishis, Dr Morris said.

These are the sounds of the Totality of Natural Law, and they come in 40 discrete 'packages' of Nature's intelligence. As revealed by Maharaja Nader Raam, the great scientist who is now the first ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, everything there is in the universe including our human physiology is made of those 40 packages of intelligence.

'As in the plant in the field of the farmer, all these 40 basic values of intelligence are there at the root of everything there is. When Vedic Pandits . . . recite to the plants the Vedic sounds of these 40 aspects of the intelligence of the Unified Field, the sounds will resonate with the intelligence inside the plant itself, because it is the same intelligence,' Dr Morris said.

'By virtue of the proper selection of Vedic sounds . . . being recited to the plants at the different stages of their development, the inner intelligence of the plant will blossom. This will cause maximum growth of the plant as well as the comprehensive and complete growth of all nutritional qualities of the plant that could be required for the plant to be most helpful and useful to the entire population that will be eating it.

'It is well known already, that when you play musical sounds to plants, different musical sounds have quite different effects: monotonous sounds have a bad effect; rock music has a very bad effect on the plant's growth; and classical western music has some kind of a good effect but it is mixed. In scientific research, playing classical Gandharva Veda music of India has the maximum enriching quality for the life of the plant.

'Now we go a step beyond that,' Dr Morris said. 'The Vedic sounds are the sounds of the Unified Field itself, the sounds which structure the life of the plant itself. Playing these sounds to the plant, this is a critical point of Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture that is going to totally change the character of the food that we eat.

'Already at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, we have our own greenhouse, and . . . Vedic sounds are already being played to the plants.

'Anyone who tastes that food will tell you the vitality, the taste and the richness in delight in eating that food is unparalleled. This is another essential feature of the Vedic sounds, and it should not surprise anyone because it's been known for a long time that the plants react to anything that they experience. They react to sound, they react to light, they react to touch. Plants themselves are very deeply influenced by the environment . . . . So what we provide to the plant in the environment has a very powerful effect on what the plant becomes as it grows,' said Dr Morris.
