Organic agriculture initiatives of the Global Country of World Peace are flourishing in Serbia. Produce is sold on the weekends even in winter and many people are coming to buy the fresh vegetables.

This news was recently announced by Raja Felix Kaegi, Raja of Invincible Serbia for the Global Country of World Peace, and Dr Branko Cicic, the Global Country's National Director of Serbia responsible for Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture.

Dr Cicic reported on plans for expansion of organic agriculture in Serbia. One expansion initiative is a weekly television programme about organic farming. The show has already started and there will be 40 episodes, broadcast every Sunday and rebroadcast two-three times during the week.

Organic agriculture experts working with Dr Cicic have also been invited to be guest speakers, he said. On 25 February they will give a one-hour presentation about organic farming to approximately 150 local producers. The producers could potentially utilize the knowledge this spring, Dr Cicic commented.

The mayor of another town has also asked the experts to come and help implement organic agriculture in the area. They will speak with local producers on 27 February.
