Rapidly increasing demand for food purity and safety in US parallels rising national coherence from Invincible America Assembly - Raja John Fagan

Raja John Fagan* continued his presentation 23 February 2009 on how recent progress both at governmental and grass roots levels in several countries is a clear expression of rising coherence in collective consciousness in those countries and the world, resulting from the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace.

Raja Fagan is Raja of the Global Country of World Peace with special responsibility for food purity and safety, and healthy invincibility, a responsibility entrusted to him by Maharishi.

'An even more striking example' in the US, Raja Fagan went on to say, was the genetically engineered hormone rBGH—because it came 'not from the level of law, but from the level of consumer attitudes, impressions, and views'. The hormone had become widely used in the US dairy industry to induce cows to produce more milk, 'to the point that it wasn't healthy for them', as well as decreasing the quality of milk and other problems, he said.

Raja Fagan explained that this issue gained increasing public exposure over a year and a half, with consumers putting pressure on large retail chains and supermarkets around the country, who one by one adopted a new policy banning rGBH from being used to produce milk for their dairy products. This began gradually, then 'swept across America, and the crowning blow was when the largest retailer of foods in America and the world established a policy banning rBGH in their milk products'.

Dr Fagan said that the producer of the hormone was trying to influence each state government to oppose this development, but failed in every state—and 'the only thing that can account for this,' he said, 'is the rise in collective consciousness as the result of the Invincible America Assembly.'

As the number of Yogic Flyers participating in the Assembly has continued to increase, there has been continuous rise in collective consciousness, Raja Fagan said—reflected in 'a grass roots movement calling for greater purity and authenticity—a whole new approach to food'.

Although government institutions regulating food and agriculture in the US may move at their own pace, he predicts that 'this grass roots movement is going to change the direction of time for food in the US.

'Mark my words,' Raja Fagan said—'as the Invincible America Assembly continues to expand, we will see profound changes in America's food supply in next two years.'

* Raja John Fagan, PhD, has extensive expertise as a molecular biologist who for more than two decades used recombinant DNA techniques in his own research, for which he received over US$2.5 million in grants from the US National Institutes of Health (NIH).
