On 3 November 2018 Nagaland Post reported: An eight member team consisting of organic farmers and researchers from Nagaland participated at the recently concluded 10th BIOFACH India 2018 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from October 25- 27. BIOFACH India, a platform for the Indian organic industry to converge and craft a future for the industry, is a gateway for showcasing Indian organic potential to the world. The 3 day organic fair provided a platform to all organic stakeholders to showcase their organic products, services, and research to create business opportunities, enabling a meeting point for the farmers to connect to their target audience.

The team was led by Dr. Akali Chishi, professor, Department of Horticulture, SASRD, Nagaland University and Abea Mero, founder of Connect Organic Nagaland.
