Farmers fear hunger as floods worsen pandemic woes in western Nepal

On 7 August 2020 Thomson Reuters Foundation reported: Seasonal migrants returning to Nepal from India because of COVID-19 are struggling as huge floods damage their homes and crops. On Thursday [6 August], the Red Cross said almost 17.5 million people had been affected and more than 630 killed by major floods and landslides in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal so far this monsoon season, including almost 200 dead or missing in Nepal. Global Good News service views this news as the failure of modern environment and health systems. Such 'flops' highlight the need for more intelligent, evolutionary, Natural Law based, life-supporting systems.
