Nation's Administration should be nourished by Vastu
by Surendra Panwar
Age of Enlightenment News Service Translate This Article
New Delhi, India
1 October 2004
Maharishi said that the significance of Vastu in raising the level of national consciousness mainly gets reflected in the Parliament and other administrative buildings. Ignorance about Vastu has led to total chaos in the country. He said that the administration has collapsed completely; and people continue to live in misery. The political process has come to a standstill; and the politicians are engaged in a vilification campaign against their opponents. They are trying to score personal points instead of providing an able administration to the country.
Maharishi said that if these buildings were constructed according to proper Vastu, the government would make decisions which would make the nation invincible and prosperous. There would not be frequent hold-ups in parliamentary proceedings, or delays in making important decisions.
Maharishi said that an individual living in a house built according to Vastu can experience an altogether different world. He can transcend bondage, and can feel an absolute transparency and freedom—which leads to the highest level of consciousness.
He exhorted the people of India to change the present leadership, which in the name of secularism, is undermining the religion and culture of the country. 'It does not value the lives of the people,' he said.
In regard to democracy, Maharishi said that the prime objective of any government is to provide nourishment to its people, and permanency and consistency to the administration. The relationship between the government and its people is like that between father and son. 'Can anyone change his father every four or five years?' he asked.
Maharishi said that through Raam Raj he will offer permanency and consistency to every government in the world. Raam Raj does not depend on the vote. He said that the concept of democracy is based on 'you give me vote, I will give you jail' ideology. He warned the Indian press that unless they wake up now, future generations will also be ruled by foreigners.
