First year of Invincible America Assembly sees dozens of U.S. stock market records broken

Since the Assembly was launched on 23 July 2006, approximately 1800 peace-creating experts have gathered at Maharishi University of Management and Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, to practise Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme and Yogic Flying together in a group. According to Dr Hagelin, research shows that the positive influence of their collective practice has been immediate and profound in every area of national life-such as the economy, which grew far faster and gained greater strength than expected:

• The Dow surged 27.5%, gaining over 3000 points—including 1000 points in the last three months alone—to set a new all-time record of 14,000

• The S&P rose 24% to its all-time high

• The Nasdaq climbed 33%

• Unemployment rates fell to a six-year low at 4.5%

• The U.S. budget deficit is dropping to its lowest level in five years

Positive trends predicted publicly in advance

As predicted one year ago, not only has a surging U.S. stock market charged to record-breaking highs, but the longstanding nuclear crisis with North Korea is quietly being resolved without incident, and public backing and congressional support are on the rise for peaceful new approaches to resolving the Iraq war and other conflicts around the world.

These dramatic and unexpected developments are just a few of the concrete signs of the success of the Invincible America Assembly in Iowa—the largest-ever scientific demonstration project to document the effects of large group meditations on the economic and social trends of the nation, according to Dr Hagelin.

A group of 2500 Yogic Flyers needed to guarantee invincibility for the nation

Based on this earlier research, the present group of 1800 Yogic Flyers is sufficient to produce a powerful influence of coherence and invincibility in the nation. However, to ensure that remaining problems in the country are quickly resolved and to permanently establish the nation on a high level of invincibility, a permanent group of 2500 experts is needed-and will soon be established in Iowa, Dr Hagelin said.

Similar Invincibility Assemblies are being established in large and small nations to form a 'ring of invincibility' around the world, to prevent problems, and to promote permanent peace and invincibility in every nation.

'This is not wishful thinking,' said Dr Hagelin. 'This is hard science that has been field tested for over 50 years and documented through more than 600 studies conducted at over 250 independent universities and research institutes throughout the world.'

The Invincible America Assembly is being funded by an annual US$12 million grant from the 'Howard and Alice Settle Foundation for an Invincible America.'
