Poll: Satisfaction of the alliance pointed to the study's findings that every state would gain more jobs people up

On 6 February 2010 EU News Network reported: A recent poll conducted by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, a non-profit agency, found that 79 per cent of Tajikistan residents are either 'somewhat' or 'completely' satisfied with the current level of protection they receive regarding their political and personal freedoms as citizens. Sixty-eight per cent of respondents were 'very' or 'somewhat' satisfied with the overall situation in Tajikistan, up from 65 per cent in 2004 and 22 per cent in 1996.

Only 30 per cent of respondents to the poll were either 'very' or 'somewhat' dissatisfied with the country's overall situation.

'In the 2004 and 1996 polls, 28 per cent and 67 per cent were dissatisfied, respectively,' according to the EU News Network report.

The 2010 poll was based on a sample size of 1,500 adults polled 18 December - 6 January and has a margin of error of 2.53 percentage points.
