Gambia among 20 countries on track for MDGs attainment - Finance DPS

On 29 November 2013 Daily Observer reported: The deputy permanent secretary for Programmes and Projects at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs has disclosed that The Gambia is among 20 countries worldwide that are gaining momentum in the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), whose deadline is 2015. The eight smart, measurable, achievable. and realistic goals and targets of the MDGs range from halving extreme poverty rates to providing universal primary education.
