EPA puts limits on 'forever chemicals' in drinking water

On 14 April 2024 NPR (National Public Radio) reported: The Environmental Protection Agency announced new drinking water standards Wednesday [10 April] to limit exposure to a class of chemicals called PFAS [per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances]. This is the first time the agency has set enforceable limits on PFAS in drinking water.
