Raja Rogers Badgett encourages everyone to take advantage of Maharishi's programmes

On a recent Global Family Chat, broadcast daily around the world via satellite television and the Internet, Raja Rogers Badgett encouraged everyone to take advantage of the many different opportunities offered by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of the Global Country of World Peace, and be 'one-pointed' on his programmes to gain enlightenment and immortality.

'Don't be like the man who walks by a ruby on the road and thinks it is merely a rock, when really Maharishi is offering bliss consciousness. . . .' Raja Rogers said. 'Maharishi is offering so much to the world in so many different areas. . . . So take advantage of those opportunities and be one-pointed on Maharishi's programmes. We are really very, very blessed—everyone who practises the Transcendental Meditation technique, everyone who takes advantage of Maharishi Ayur-Veda, Vastu Vidya (Vedic Architecture), all of these different programmes.'

He also pointed out that the different techniques and treatments Maharishi has made available to everyone in the world, 'all work together to quickly propel one in the direction of perfect health, immortality, and enlightenment.'

Raja Rogers explained that 'many people come to our various Maharishi Ayur-Veda facilities, maybe to take care of a back pain, or maybe they don't sleep well'; but the good results that are found are simply side-effects on the way to enlightenment. The purpose of every Maharishi Enlightenment Centre is 'enlightening the population through Transcendental Meditation, through proper diet, through all these different modalities—because the more pure the nervous system, the more balanced the physiology, the more consciousness is able to express itself in that physiology. This is really what we are about, not some small purpose of curing a headache. We're about enlightenment for the population, bliss consciousness for the individual.'

Raja Rogers concluded by expressing his gratitude to Maharishi, to Maharishi's Master, Shri Guru Dev, and the tradition of Vedic Masters, 'for this Total Knowledge—knowledge of everything, of every area of life. It helps us propel ourselves and our society to Sat Yuga and break the heart of Kali Yuga—manifesting a new age of enlightenment, and the end of the age of ignorance.'

Raja Rogers encouraged everyone to do anything possible to promote one's own enlightenment and to help others achieve this goal, 'because by helping others you help yourself. And by helping yourself you bring enlightenment and bliss consciousness into your physiology, and through that, help enlighten the world.'
