Global Ministry of Health researching new therapies to function at the quantum level of human physiology

Dr Robert Schneider, MD, FACC, Minister of Health for the domain of Central Vedic America in the Global Country of World Peace, recently presented the current activities and achievements of the Global Ministry of Health on the Global Family Chat. Dr Schneider's presentation included a decription of their research into the use of new therapies drawn from the ancient Vedic texts, as well as modern objective diagnostic methods.

Dr Schneider, who is also Director of the Institute for Natural Medicine and Prevention at Maharishi University of Management in Iowa, USA, and author of the new book Total Heart Health, pointed out that the human body is seen in Maharishi Vedic Medicine on both classical and quantum mechanical levels. He explained that Maharishi Vedic Medicine works on the level of the Unified Field*, which can be experienced in the process of transcending in Transcendental Meditation, or on the level of the three Prakritis (governing principles in the physiology)—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—which are very close to the Unified Field.

Dr Schneider and his colleagues are now investigating in the ancient Vedic texts other diagnostic techniques and treatments that would operate on the quantum mechanical level of the human body. A new department of the Ministry now adds gem therapy, which uses light, one of the four fundamental forces in the electromagnetic field, to create balance on the quantum mechanical level, near the level of the Unified Field.

Marma Therapy, another area of medicine found in the ancient Vedic texts, is still practised in the south of India. Dr Schneider said that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, has invited renowned Vaidyas (Vedic Medicine experts) of southern India, who know how to use the 108 junctions, or marma points, between the physiology and consciousness of the body—where the connection to the Unified Field is most lively—to effect healing. This form of therapy uses massage and special oils to enliven marma points—enliven consciousness in the parts of the body, and then in the whole body.

Dr Schneider added that 'Maharishi is continuing to rediscover and revive complete health care'—care based on knowledge that will be available in the Maharishi Colleges of Vedic Medicine to be built all over the world. This will include objective diagnostic methods using computer technology such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Positron Emission Tomography, and others in addition to Vedic Medicine apprpoaches including pulse diagnosis and Maharishi Jyotish , Vedic astrology. A second level of technology will use cutting-edge equipment that may help identify changes in the quantum mechanical fields that make up the body. These will allow doctors to see deep imbalances and to monitor the immediate effects of treatments.

'The purpose of all these', Dr Schneider concluded, 'is to restore the perfect balance of the human physiology, to create longevity toward immortality . . . . We are all immortal because we are all essentially the immortal Unified Field.'

*Unified Field: The fundamental level of existence described in Maharishi's Vedic Science and modern quantum physics as the field of total Natural Law underlying the entire universe.
