To hasten progress in establishing Maharishi Spas worldwide, an office based in America operates seven days per week, providing expert guidance and information in every aspect of setting up and running these facilities. Maharishi Ayur Veda Health Care Centers at Lancaster, Massachusetts and The Raj in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa continue to enjoy very positive and extensive press coverage. Recently, the BBC visited The Raj as part of a programme currently in production entitled 'The Science of Meditation'. The programme is twenty minutes in length and will be available for worldwide distribution from November. BBC producers were very impressed with the scientific research published on Transcendental Meditation and the TM-Sidhi Programme, and with the broad range of Consciousness-Based programmes available through the Global Country of World Peace.

Reflecting on the benefits of Maharishi Ayur-Veda natural health care, Dr Rogers Badgett, founder of The Raj, who is also a Raja (Administrator) of the Global Country of World Peace, mentioned that no other health care system matches the cost and effectiveness of this approach. He contrasted this with the current health care system in America which is run at high cost but is much less effective in dealing with physiological imbalances and ill health. Dr Badgett also commented on the large number of high profile people who visit The Raj and the Lancaster health centre for treatment every year, including top executives from America's leading companies.
