Speaking recently on the Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Robert Schneider, National Director of Health for Invincible America, reported developing interest at Indian hospitals and medical universities in launching studies on Maharishi Ayur-Veda.

In Part I and Part II of this article, Dr Schneider reported progress in launching programmes in Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health at two different hospitals in India: one programme in reversal of ageing, and one concerning heart health.

Continuing to recount his tour of India on the Global Family Chat, Dr Schneider reported that he next visited the largest medical university in the country, consisting of eight colleges. 'Although the founder of the university is a successful entrepreneur with a degree in engineering,' said Dr Schneider, 'he told me that his real interests lie in physics and spirituality—and the relationship between the two.'

In response, Dr Schneider was pleased to inform the founder of the vast knowledge, uncovered by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Global Country of World Peace, and world renowned physicist Raja John Hagelin, Raja of Invincible America, concerning the profound relationship between quantum physics and the Veda. 'Although this university has always shown interest in world peace,' said Dr Schneider, 'never before have the students had access to knowledge of quantum physics as the basis of Natural Law, and, most relevantly, the basis of physiology and health. Both the founder and I are excited to introduce Maharishi's knowledge into the curriculum.'

In addition to this significant development, the founder of the university suggested that Dr Schneider meet with the dean of another medical university in India, who is also head of the university's Yoga Centre. This man has taught 50,000 students Yoga throughout his time at the university, but never felt he has made an influence through his teachings. He asked Dr Schneider whether it would be possible to teach all 25,000 of his current Yoga students the Transcendental Meditation Technique. Dr Schneider reported that he has already suggested the project to Raja Harris Kaplan, Raja of Invincible India, and that it is now in the works.

'These events in India signify to us that Maharishi has truly fulfilled his mission to raise world consciousness,' concluded Dr Schneider. 'These are just some of the signs evident on the objective level, among thousands that are reported on Global Family Chat every night.'
