New Maharishi Ayurveda shops opening in Germany

On a recent Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Eckhart Stein, Director of Education for the Global Country of World Peace in Germany, spoke about new shops in Germany offering Maharishi Ayur Veda Products and holding lectures on Maharishi Ayur-Veda for health and longevity.

First Dr Stein reported that the meta analysis study on Transcendental Meditation and hypertension recently completed in the United States has now appeared in the national press and medical journals in Germany.

A shop for selling Maharishi Ayurveda Products opened recently in one German town, so with all the current interest in the media, they are also publicizing all the Transcendental Meditation centres in the areas of health and education 'because hypertension is also becoming a problem with young students', Dr Stein said.

A Maharishi Ayur-Veda shop also opened a few months ago in the north of Germany and there was an article about this new shop in the local newspaper, which has a circulation of 150,000. This shop was organized by a local medical doctor and is run by two practitioners of Transcendental Meditation. Dr Stein showed slides of the shop, which is 31 square metres, with 15 square metres of showroom. When he is not involved with his medical practice, this doctor gives lectures on Maharishi Ayur-Veda.

Dr Stein showed more slides, explaining that lectures are held in the shop, including the Unified Field conferences of Raja John Hagelin,* which are translated into German.

Related to this shop, a presentation was made on Maharishi Ayurveda Products at a big health fair, and every evening lectures were given, attended by many people. At another recent health fair, a number of people viewed Dr Hagelin's talk on Unified Field-Based Health.

Dr Stein also showed slides of another centre for Transcendental Meditation in the centre of Germany, where the Mayor came with a large bouquet of flowers and congratulated them for opening a new shop in his city. It is a small shop, but is in a very good location in the middle of the town, near the Mayor's office.

'Everybody who wants to go to the Mayor has to pass by the shop. Also in the area is a swimming pool and people who are coming to and from the bus and the train station also have to pass this shop. It is a very good location and has an east** entrance,' Dr Stein explained. Children coming from the swimming pool also visit this shop for refreshments.

Slides were shown of the inside of the shop and all the products. 'This little shop will give all that is needed there for complete knowledge of health and immortality. Many shops like this will open all over Germany,' Dr Stein said.

In another city, there are 24 similar outlets all over the area where one can buy coffee, ice cream, and cake along with Maharishi Ayu-Veda teas, and also Rasayanas*** and books; all the knowledge of Maharishi Ayur-Veda is available. 'So this is an example of shops opening and offering Maharishi Ayur-Veda knowledge and products in Germany,' said Dr Stein.
